Serving The Flavors Of Chicago Since December 2020

My name is Bonita Allen and my husband is James Allen, and we'd like to share our story of how Midway Dogs came to be. I was born and raised on the southside of Chicago, as the 10th of 12 children. In 2006, I moved to Austin with nothing and always thought about owning my own business. Every time I would go back home to visit I would spend more time eating out because of the foods that I missed. Soon, the idea came to me to stop chasing my favorite foods and I knew other people from Chicago were doing the same thing. That’s when I decided to open Midway Dogs and be as authentic as possible. We’ve only been in business for a couple of months and we are loving it. Meeting a lot of great people and putting a lot of smiles on faces makes me very happy!
